Measure the desired amount of Organic Tuvar Dal. Rinse the dal under running water to remove any impurities. In a pot, add water in a 1:3 ratio (1 cup dal to 3 cups water) and bring it to a boil. Add the rinsed dal to the boiling water and let it cook on medium heat. Skim off any foam that forms on the surface. Cook until the dal becomes soft and mushy, stirring occasionally. In a separate pan, heat oil or ghee and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, chopped onions, and other spices. Add the cooked dal to the pan, mix well, and simmer for a few minutes. Serve hot with rice or roti. Enjoy the nutritious and flavorful Organic Tuvar Dal.
